The ProStar® ES is part of an ecosystem with the perfect balance of superior aerodynamics and drivetrain optimization, customized by Navistar’s highly experienced Performance Engineering Team and monitored through the exclusive OnCommand™ Connection remote diagnostics system.

The ProStar® ES was developed to have the lowest Wind Averaged Drag Coefficient in the industry through extensive full-scale testing at NASA’s Ames Research Facility. As a result the aerodynamic drag was reduced on the ProStar® ES Tractor and Trailer combination and now the ProStar® ES aerodynamics outperform the competition in virtually any wind condition on the road.

The ProStar® ES package features the Cummins Eaton SmartAdvantage and the most efficient rear axles in the industry. The SmartAdvantage features the Cummins ISX15 engine paired with the Eaton Fuller Advantage 16-speed automated transmission. This combination gives the ProStar® ES advanced downspeeding capability which allows it to run at 150-300 fewer RPMs at cruising speed than previous offerings. This means an improvement of 11% in fuel economy when compared to the 2010 ProStar® Maxxforce 13. The ProStar® ES is also available with the Eaton Fuller Advantage 16-speed automated transmission and the N13 engine.

The ProStar® ES also comes standard with OnCommand™ Connection which is the industry’s first and only Remote Diagnostic System that is based on an Open Architecture System. OnCommand Connection gives you the luxury of real-time data on your trucks for potential maintenance issues before it happens as well as vehicle location, on-road performance and active fault codes. Saving you time, headaches and fuel costs.

The ProStar® ES is available in multiple cab configurations including, Day Cab, 56? HI-Rise, 73? HI-Rise, and 73? Sky-Rise to accommodate short-haul and long-haul drivers.
